Fifteen years after having worked on the original interior design, our clients asked KOEDAMDESIGN back to complete an interior design renovation and an addition to their alfresco entertainment area, which grew in scale to a renovation of nearly the whole house. We were only one of three, including ourselves and the joiner, to be invited back.
The original project saw KOEDAMDESIGN consulted with our clients during the whole process, through design and building stages over a period of three and a half year. This home is on five acres in a much sort after rural area forty minutes from the city.
The new project, as detailed in these photos, KOEDAMDESIGN worked for over twelve months on. This project included the new additions to the Summer Room and Alfresco Living space & BBQ, including how existing spaces would be incorporated into the new areas. The new areas included the extension to the gourmet kitchen and alfresco kitchen area, including redesign and documentation of the new kitchen. We also worked on the custom design & documentation of the new cellar and entertainment area, including finishes and materials such as old recycled timber timber and new flooring layouts.
The existing tiled flooring was replaced with new flooring, interior and exterior paint selection and schedules were selected.
KOEDAMDESIGN worked hand in hand with our client on selections of furniture, fabrics and fittings plus the selection of new artwork.
Custom designed & coloured designer rugs, by Akira Isogowra and were an intricate part of the design in the entry plus the Summer and Winter rooms to tie the existing and new additions together.
Throughout the total project KOEDAMDESIGN liaised with the clients, builder and trades throughout the total project.
We are extremely proud of the work we have been involved with these clients and value their ongoing friendship made through our previous projects with them.
